CONTEST «PHOTO ART»

I stage. HOME TASK

1. Write essay on the theme: “Solid family and family traditions“.
2. Develop the poster, which reveals the content of the motto of the forum: “Solid family – the prosperous motherland – the happiness of mankind“ (size 700*900, it is possible to use a different technology of the production: computer, application, collage, figure, painting, to graph). It must be indicated on the face side of poster: the name, nomination, school, class, city, country. Posters do not send by mail. Poster should be presented to the judges during the 2nd stage. It schould be sent via e-mail along an other completed home tasks.
3 Write abstract (be ready for examination during 2nd stage) on the topic:

6 – 12 yo. “For the man the habits of idle life are worse than all calamities of life. Therefore is highly important the children would be trained from the young age“ (L. Tolstoy) volume 1-2 computer pages (1800 — 3600 signs).
13 – 18 yo. “Man must respect his vocation, whatever it was, and extol the merit of this vocation, and require respect for it, when is worthy“ (Ch. Dickens). Volume 3-5 pages.

4. Write brief milestones your creative way. Be ready for the oral presentation while the 2nd stage.

II stage. ELIMINATION

1. Present your creative works with the commentaries: the photographs (black and white or colored), whose concept would reflect the motto of the forum: “Solid family – the prosperous motherland – the happiness of mankind“. Send your files of photo-pictures in advance via e-mail, marked each with name or number, short describtion also. Solution is not less than 300 dpi.

2. Prepare the monologue on behalf of famous photographer, media reporter etc., inverted to the contemporary young generation: “Is great the skill of inoculating to people the excellent ideas, which learn to sacrifice all for the happiness of the kind of human“ (Stendhal), — 3 min. Send it all via e-mail together with any other home tasks.

Requirements for the answers of the competitors:

1. Correspondence of artistic version to the original. 2. Composition. 3. Original topical solution. 4. Quality of performance. 5. Illumination. 6. Creative approach. 7. the colors palette 8. stereo solutions (uncommon forms).

III stage. FINAL

Present the creative works, completed on the elimination stage of forum or at the excursion through Moscow.

Home task is completed in two languages: on the native and in the Russian

1) The executed home task sends into the organization committee until October 1, 2008 by E-mail . For obtaining the invitation for 2nd stage indicate the E-mail necessary.
2) During the registration for the 2nd stage task is represented on the paper and electronic carriers: on the CD-RW only;
3). Each point of task signs by output data of executor;
4). On the computer; the size of the text files Microsoft word with the expansion of doc., all margins 1,5 cm, type Arial, the size of font 11, with the leveling off on the width, table. Insert framework and pictures to the text is strictly prohibited. The tabulator’s position from initially those established not to change;
5). Is represented the photo of a good quality for the publication in the periodical “Gifted children“ (compulsory to sign); the competitor's photo is added as the separate file of size JPG, size must be no 180 kb over; files must be named thus, as given in the following examples: “The reference of Swenson Peter.doc“; JPG — “Photos of Swenson Peter.jpg».
