I stage. HOME TASK

1. Write essay on the theme: “Solid family and family traditions“.
2. Develop the poster, which reveals the content of the motto of the forum: “Solid family – the prosperous motherland – the happiness of mankind“ (size 700*900, it is possible to use a different technology of the production: computer, application, collage, figure, painting, to graph). It must be indicated on the face side of poster: the name, nomination, school, class, city, country. Posters do not send by mail. Poster should be presented to the judges during the 2nd stage. It schould be sent via e-mail as well as an other completed home tasks.
3. Write abstract (be ready for examination during 2nd stage) on the topic:

12 – 15 yo. “Who took in its hands helm, was obligated to concern about the public only, but not in any way about its own matters“ (Erasmus of Rotterdam). Volume 1-2 pages (1800-3600 signs)
16 – 18 yo. “You have all, if you bring up citizens; without this in you everything, beginning from the rulers of state, they will be only pitiful slaves. However, to bring up citizens — matter not in one day; and in order to have devoted citizens, it is necessary to add them from the childhood“ (J.-J. Rousseau). Volume 3-5 pages.

4. Write brief milestones your creative way. Be ready for the oral presentation while the 2nd stage.

II stage. ELIMINATION

1. Present theses and be ready for the round table on the theme (Send it all via e-mail in advance as well as otherone your works):

16 – 18 yo. “The fatherland is that mysterious organism, which allotted you the ability to think and to feel, created your habits, gave to you language, beliefs, literature“ (M. Saltykov-Schedrin)

(under the 16 yo.) describe, what do you know about the states of the World (on your selection): on the colors, the anthems, the state and political systems, foreign policy (not 3 min over).

2. Prepare monologue on the topic “Is great the skill of inoculating to people the excellent ideas, which learn to sacrifice all for the happiness of the kind of humanity“ (Stendhal) on behalf famous foreign affair master, inverted to the contemporary young generation (2 min.). Send it via e-mail in advance along an other your works.

III stage. FINAL

Participate the round table on the subject: “The fatherland is that mysterious organism, which allotted you the ability to think and to feel, created your habits, gave to you language, beliefs, literature“ (M. Saltykov-Schedrin).

Requirements for the fulfillment of assignments of the competitors:

1. Correctness and line of reasoning of answer to the presented question. 2. Originality of reasoning. 3. Speech skill and persuasiveness 4. The habit to have control over itself 5. Knowledge of the bases of policy and law, constitution of its country 6. Skill to present its understanding of a question in the form of diagrams, tables etc. 7. The logic of the thinking.

Home task is completed in two languages: on the native and in the Russian

1) The executed home task sends into the organization committee until October 1, 2008 by E-mail . For obtaining the invitation for 2nd stage indicate the E-mail necessary.
2) During the registration for the 2nd stage task is represented on the paper and electronic carriers: on the CD-RW only;
3). Each point of task signs by output data of executor;
4). On the computer; the size of the text files Microsoft word with the expansion of doc., all margins 1,5 cm, type Arial, the size of font 11, with the leveling off on the width, table. Insert framework and pictures to the text is strictly prohibited. The tabulator’s position from initially those established not to change;
5). Is represented the photo of a good quality for the publication in the periodical “Gifted children“ (compulsory to sign); the competitor's photo is added as the separate file of size JPG, size must be no 180 kb over; files must be named thus, as given in the following examples: “The reference of Swenson Peter.doc“; JPG — “Photos of Swenson Peter.jpg».
